Hier ist die zweite CD von Fleurine, die eigentlich ihre chronologisch erste ist. "Meant To Be!" wurde 1996 von der Holländerin für ein lokales Label namens "Blue Music" aufgenommen, für das Universal Jazz die Rechte erworben hat. Ihr im Februar erschienenes Album "Close Enough For Love" (zusammen mit Brad Mehldau) ist auf beachtliche Resonanz gestossen und dieses Erstlingswerk der sexy Sängerin wird sie zweifellos noch bekannter machen. Dafür sorgen auch ihre Gastmusiker Christian McBride, Billy Drummond, Tom Harrell, Ralph Moore, Renée Rosnes und Jesse van Ruller.
